I need to cancel my course registration

Provide your name, course title, date of your scheduled session and the reason for your cancellation to "Contact myOACAS support" as soon as possible.

To support a positive learning environment and to assist in reliable planning, OACAS Learning implemented a cancellation policy in 2012. Participants must notify OACAS of any cancellation via myOACAS Support Centre.  Depending on the type of training, your agency may be invoiced the applicable penalty for your late cancellation/no show if you fail to submit your cancellation request two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled session. If you are unable to attend the session after the 2-week cancellation period, consult your agency about the possibility of finding a substitute learner to avoid any penalties.

OACAS Learning Cancellation Policy

Tuition-Free OACAS-Led Courses

When participants cancel within two (2) weeks of the start date of the course or do not attend on the
day of training, the agency will incur a charge of $110. Participants must notify OACAS of any cancellation via myOACAS Support Centre. If the cancellation is less than two (2) weeks of the course start date, participants should inform their agency of the cancellation so that a substitute may be considered. Agencies may substitute alternate participants within the two (2) week period with no charge via request to myOACAS Support Centre. Exemptions such as illness, emergency court hearings and personal emergencies will be considered with respect to the cancellation fee. The Registration Specialist should be notified as soon as possible if exemptions are to be considered.

For All Pay‐Per‐Participant Courses with Tuition of $300 or Greater

Where training is being provided on a per participant fee basis with regular course tuition of $300 or greater, the following cancellation policy will apply. This category includes but is not limited to the Leading for Impact training program. Courses that fall under this category will have a posted Registration/Cancellation Deadline date. Cancellation requests received on or prior to the Registration/Cancellation Deadline date will be subject to a cancellation charge of $110. When participants cancel after the Registration/Cancellation Deadline date or do not attend on the day of training, a refund will not be issued and participants will forfeit the full tuition amount. Agencies may substitute alternate participants at anytime leading up to the start date of the course at no charge via request to myOACAS Support Centre. Exemptions such as illness, emergency court hearings and personal emergencies will be considered with respect to the cancellation fee. The Registration Specialist should be notified as soon as possible if exemptions are to be considered.

For All Pay‐Per‐Participant Courses with Tuition Under $300

OACAS Learning from time‐to‐time may offer an expanded training calendar with nominal tuition fees for participants. Where training is being provided on a per participant fee basis with regular course tuition under $300, the following cancellation policy will apply. Cancellation requests received two (2) weeks in advance of the start date of the course will be subject to a cancellation charge of $25. When participants cancel within two (2) weeks of the start date of the course or do not attend on the day of training, a refund will not be issued and participants will forfeit the full tuition amount. Substitute participants or alternative course dates will not be permitted.
